About Us

Ballachlagan is the local branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism and encompasses the northern panhandle of WV. We are part of a larger group known as the Kingdom of AEthelmearc. This group takes up all of West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, and western New York. AEthlemearc is one of 20 Kingdoms throughout the world which has over 30,000 members. We sincerely invite you to come to some practices and meetings and find out more about the family that is the SCA and specifically, the Shire of Ballachlagan.
